█ Mixing the heartfelt angst of a singer/songwriter with the █
█ brashness of a garage rock band, LAPUSH tend to defy most █
█ genres with their pretense-free, orchestral approach to █
█ songwriting. The lyrics are reminiscent, without being █
█ derivative, of mid-period Dylan. Passionate, but never █
█ pompous. At times, the music recalls early U2, building on █
█ simple themes and sparse layers. Once you think you've █
█ figured them out, they hit you with a song like "Tout le █
█ monde vous veut vivant", which translates: "Everybody wants █
█ you alive". The first single, "Through It All" is currently █
█ being played on radio stations across the country. █
