            █  Germans Islay play a melodic and groove inspired    █
            █  style of melodic death metal with plenty of         █
            █  intricate harmonies and mosh-worthy rhythms.        █
            █  IÆve for the most part been impressed with German   █
            █  heavy metal and extreme metal bands since the       █
            █  early days of Kreator, Sodom and Destruction, but   █
            █  for some reason, Islay just donÆt have that fire,   █
            █  which made German metal so well known the world     █
            █  over. These guys are pretty tight in their          █
            █  playing, with tons of intricately executed riffs    █
            █  and harmonies and grooves that are sure get a       █
            █  whole pit going. However, ôThe AngelsÆ Shareö is    █
            █  nothing out of the ordinary, and itÆs not           █
            █  something that has not been done really well by     █
            █  the likes of Scar Symmetry, Callenish Circle and    █
            █  God Dethroned.                                      █
            █  Title track ôThe AngelsÆ Shareö has some            █
            █  interesting keyboard lines, which go really well    █
            █  with their choppy rhythms and dirty, growl powered  █
            █  vocals here. This one also has a nice synth and     █
            █  guitar interlude within the middle part of the      █
            █  song, but apart from this, I was not convinced      █
            █  that this German combo have what it takes to        █
            █  become a strong contender within the international  █
            █  melodic death metal scene. Check it out; it just    █
            █  might be your cup of cold coffee.                   █
