The second EP of remixes from the album by Soul Bossa Trio
"Dolphins", released on Irma's Moonbeat Recordings imprint, opens
with a supaclassic tune from John Coltrane "Naima", here retouched
and remixed with a broken electronic/techno/boogie twist by Swedish
Golden Boy Stockholm Cyclo. On the flip, the remixed album track is
"Butterfly", originally remixed by Bluey from Ingognito and included
on Moonbeat's version of the Soul Bossa Trio album itself, here in a
DJ friendly version by San Francisco's OM Records honcho Afro Mistik.
His mix has a slightly Brazilian feel and an uplifting groove, so
uplifting that we decided to include the beats of this mix as a DJ
tool.
