    █▒      VEILED ALLUSIONS is a experimental and minimal dark          ▒█
    █▒      project of Karsten Hamre (known for his work in              ▒█
    █▒      PENITENT), blending various eerie sounds and styles,         ▒█
    █▒      from Experimental Wave to Industrial and Dark Ambient.       ▒█
    █▒      There are no limits to what elements are blended into        ▒█
    █▒      the music of VEILED ALLUSIONS. For Karsten Hamre, the        ▒█
    █▒      band's music is the channel of exploring many grounds        ▒█
    █▒      of atmospheric music.                                        ▒█
    █▒                                                                   ▒█
    █▒      After the formation in 1997, and minimal spreading of        ▒█
    █▒      the debut promo and some tracks had been re-recorded in      ▒█
    █▒      1999, the "A cusious dimension" tape was released in         ▒█
    █▒      2000 through Bestial Records from Romania. Later the         ▒█
    █▒      recordings were released as a limited edition tape box       ▒█
    █▒      (100 copies only), under the title "Through the              ▒█
    █▒      corridors of time", through American L.S.D.                  ▒█
    █▒      Organisation. On this release two tracks had been            ▒█
    █▒      replaced by two brand new songs.                             ▒█
    █▒                                                                   ▒█
    █▒      The debut full length album "Visions of the world" was       ▒█
    █▒      released in late 2001 by Counter Attack Productions          ▒█
    █▒      (Bulgaria), limited to 1000 copies.                          ▒█
    █▒                                                                   ▒█
    █▒      The second VEILED ALLUSIONS album, "Rosenkranz", was         ▒█
    █▒      released in March 2002 on Dragon Flight Recordings           ▒█
    █▒      (U.S.A). Both albums sold out quickly and the band           ▒█
    █▒      gained interest from many labels. After negotiation,         ▒█
    █▒      Karsten agreed on a deal with Displeased Records from        ▒█
    █▒      Holland, a label that has shown to be open minded,           ▒█
    █▒      having done alike-minded releases in the recent past,        ▒█
    █▒      such as ONTARIO BLUE and EQUIMANTHORN (the latter            ▒█
    █▒      through Displeased sublabel From Beyond Productions).        ▒█
    █▒                                                                   ▒█
    █▒      "When darkness descends" is full of darkness, escapisms      ▒█
    █▒      and dreamlike atmospheres. Surely interesting for fans       ▒█
    █▒      of the grim metal and ambient genres.                        ▒█
