First off: this and any S01-S03 DSRs we do of Gilmore Girls aren't dupes of any previous release, DVD or not. They are all 4:3.
This is the 16:9 remaster capped (unfortunately) at 480i.

You might be wondering why are we capping this season (and likely eventually seasons 1 and 3) as DSR and 4-7 in HD.
It's because Freeform/ABC Family is airing the fullscreen copies for those seasons rather than the widescren remaster that's on
Netflix and also airs on UP, which is what this is capped off of. ABCF/FF is only airing seasons 4-7 in widescreen.

Now, unfortunately, nobody in REGRET has the channel UP in HD. If your cable provider is Comcast, however, you do get this channel in HD.
We'd love to get proper HD rips of seasons 1-3 out to the scene, so please get in touch if you're willing to lend us a hand with capping
those 3 seasons from UP HD or even Netflix. We'll even encode the raws for you. Until then, we will do the first 3 seasons as widescreen dsrs.

PS: Unfortunately there will be no S04E05+E06 rips of Gilmore Girls from us until late Spring, as we had capping issues with those two episodes
this morning. They air 10 episodes a week (2 eps * 5 days a week) and there's 153 episodes total, meaning it won't reair until 15.3 weeks from now.
Simply put, that's the middle of May. That's assuming the schedule doesn't change. Fingers crossed it doesn't unless it's to air more episodes.
However, those two episods do air on UP HD in another two weeks time, so on the off chance another TV capper out there can help, we'll be able to get
those episodes out way sooner than mid May.
