Release Notes:
Recorded Live at Grant Street Dancehall, Lafayette,
LA, April 23 and 24, 2004, Grant Street is a searing
live set featuring songs from Sonny Landreth's
first, out-of-print 1981 solo release all the way up
to his last release, 2003's Best Contemporary Blues
Grammy-nominated The Road We're On. This time, the
studio sheen is absent ... and the electricity is
omnipresent!
"I've been thinking about doing a live album for a
long time. When people come out and hear us play,
this is what they get-a three-piece band: guitar,
bass and drums. It's a true live album. It's more
raw, it's a lot looser." -Sonny Landreth
Sonny Landreth - guitars, vocals
Dave Ranson - bass
Kenneth Blevins û drums
Produced by Sonny Landreth, Tony Daigle, and R.S.
Field.
