Here is an excellent 2003 compilation that gives a glimpse of the
   Electronic Pop scene in Russia.

While the Russian language seems only understandable by our slavic
breathern in Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Russia, there are some
awesome catchy synthpop songs here and great electro-pop can bridge
just about any language barrier. This compilation has lots of those,
from the opening Mission: Anticyclone "Reflex" track and on through
the compilation. X-Key's "Humu" is a somewhat Cosmicity-like track
that I really liked. Willie Gates has a disco-like feel to
"Interveis" that seems like it'd be a huge hit on the club dance
floor. The valley-girl-esque backing vocal to "Silly Girl" by
Electro Chance should be irritating, but instead is very catchy. I
really liked the retro-wave feel of Sputnik's "Electrons". Laikra
have the same bouncy-fun feel to "3.O.Y" that some of the best
synthpop from the 80's and 90's did. Gamer sound like a Russian PSB
through the most of "Crazy Daisy". Katuscha are one of the
highlights of the compilation, easily. I don't understand a word of
"Invisible Men", but it's one of the most catchy songs I've heard in
   a long, long time. Excellent.

Be sure to check out the svcd X-Key video of "Humu" released as
X-Key-Humu-SVCD-2003-AMOKVID on your local site's music video section
which comes from the data track on this compilation.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
     that need sales to survive.

For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!

By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
