║ Slave I will release "Scriptures" on March 15th, 2016 via ║
║ Transcending Records. The New Hampshire sextet Slave I has made an ║
║ immediate impact with a unique brand of extreme metal coined as ║
║ 'Mandalorian Metal.' Star Wars fans will make the connection between ║
║ their tongue-in-cheek genre term and their band name (which is of ║
║ course named after Boba Fett's infamous ship). ║
║ ║
║ On listening to the band's debut EP, 'Scriptures', you'll hear a ║
║ range of influences spanning the boundaries of black metal, death ║
║ metal, progressive, technical, etc. The overall takeaway from their ║
║ sound however, is distinctly Slave I and so Mandalorian Metal it is. ║
║ Whatever label you care to give them, Slave I is a remarkable young ║
║ band that sounds tighter and more mature than many bands with 10 ║
║ times their history. ║

║ The band has already shared the stage with the likes of Within the ║
║ Ruins, Currents, and A Wake in Providence and will soon add Dying ║
║ Fetus, Acacia Strain, Black Crown Initiate, Jungle Rot, and more in ║
║ the spring/summer of 2016. 'Scriptures' is just the beginning of ║
║ something big. ║
