Rhythm Slaves strike again....this time its sweet like candy, isnt it?
A Closer Look at Richard Gow of The Rhythm Slaves:
As of late, The Rhythm Slaves are everywhere you look in the house world.
With new releases out on Deepfunk, Odds N' Ends, and a hot remix on Lowdown,
The Rhythm Slaves are about as hot as it gets. The man behind the guise
is Richard Gow, a true musical madman. Combining live percusion with
other raw elements, his tracks are nothing short of unique house
masterpieces. When not in the studio working on tracks, Richard is
orchestrating the live incarnation of the Rhythm Slaves.
Consisting of live percussion, bass, saxaphone, keys, vocals, and a dj,
this band is all out FUNK. I had the chance to catch them in Miami,
and was floored. Recently, I had the chance to ask Richard a few
questions, and below is what he had to say.
