master of the deepest house grooves, yann again shows us the score
with this excellent 2 tracker, which incidentally has been out for
quite a while! the intro to "miracles" is soul searching and
drenched with strings and the percussion clicks away, while a
majestic flute dances closely with vocal nuances and a beautiful
meandering vibraphone. "motifs" takes drum kit percussion, watery
noises and heartfelt keys, over which a horn section grooves along
with a melodious bass.
