David Duriez has, so far released four EP's on 2020Vision under his
Plastic Music guise.
Over the past 8 years David has recorded over 70 records for many
prestigious labels, including F-Com, Jinxx, Stickman, Low Pressings
and Gourmet. In 1999 David founded Les Macons de la Musique with
partner Llorca (known for releases on Parisian-based label F Com).
Their release æNo Time to LoseÆ, on Afterhours, put them on the
production map and also boosted their profile as DJs with their
4-deck performances.
1999 also saw the founding of their illustrious Brique Rouge label
whose reputation has steadily increased in the world of house music
ever since. Especially in 2002 when a lot of their countrymenÆs
formulaic filtered disco is as welcome as a dose of Ibiza flu, Brique
Rouge can honestly rate itself amongst the top flight of the quality
European house music premiership. The label has released music from
international artists such as Mazi, Dj Skip, Fish Go Deep and Yann
Fontaine, 2020 Vision and Dan Ghenacia amongst many others.
David is also well known for playing tech influence-deep house music,
which always has a funky edge and loads of percussion. DD can be
caught Djing at a myriad of cooler clubs throughout France (Rex,
Batofar, Trax etc), England (Hotwatermusic, Notting Hill Arts Club
etc), Germany (Nature One, Pfeifferbank etc), America (Chicago,
Baltimore, Washington etc), Finland, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark and
Canada.
