Dj Ya'Mo is ready to rock the floor with a mixture of
funky, soulful and uplifting house beats . He started
mixing house in the hot summer of 2000 and now, at only 25
years young, he already played with all famous Belgian and
International dj's such as Derrick May, Bob Sinclar, Green
Velvet, Gene Farris, Kenny Larkin, Josh Wink and Martin
Solveig among many others. He's the main resident dj at
Ghent's famous club Decadance for his 4th year now,
playing every Thursday and Saturday at one of Belgium's
hottest house clubs. Ya'Mo's dj gigs nowadays reach all
over the country in the funkiest clubs around as Fuse,
Cafe-d'Anvers, Tijuana, Silo, Culture Club, H20 , ... at
parties like 10 Days Off, City Parade, Montuno Vibes,
Bacardi Bat Beats, ... and he has been invited to play
club nights in Stockholm, Paris, Lisboa, Holland, U.K. and
Georgia.
Ya'Mo's involved in a lot of housy concepts and events in
Ostend and Ghent as a promotor and he has his own monthly
caDenza house night in club Decadance where he invites the
best dj's in the world as Lance DeSardi, Phil Weeks, DJ
Colette, DJ Heather, Inland Knights, ... In 2 years,
caDenza hosted 24 house nights in the best underground
club of Belgium. More than 50 dj's were invited to share
their music to more than 15.000 househeads. caDenza is
without doubt the hottest monthly house night in town!
He's also responsible for promoting and selecting the new
talent and dj's in the Belgian house scene as a member of
the Young Talent Corner organization and he's a regular
contributor to Switch , Studio Brussel's dance show,
broadcasted nationwide.
As a logical next step, Ya'mo is busy in the studio,
working together with fine producers and musicians, so

already find Ya'Mo behind the decks mixing together with
live vocals, saxophones, violins and percussion players in
his live concept as "Ya'Mo and his live elements" . Next
to dj'ing, Ya'Mo graduated as a Master in Geography (2003)
and is currently combining his music career with his
Master study in Urban Development. In the meanwhile he
worked part-time for Organised booking agency and for NEWS
record distribution. Ya'Mo is a true ambassador of the
Belgian house crowd so let's get jazzy!
