Wamdue Kids was formed in 1994 by Chris Brann, Chris Clark and Chris
Udoh. Acacia label-head K Hand discovered the jazzy house/techno trio
in Atlanta and released their debut single, "Higher." In 1995, Wamdue
Kids released a double-A-side EP, "Deep Dreams/Spirit Will Not Be
Broken." Their debut full-length Resource Toolbox, Vol. 1 appeared on
Strictly Rhythm in 1996, and the singles compilation Wamdue Works
also appeared. In 1997 the group issued These Branching Moments,
while Chris Brann inaugurated a solo career with the Wamdue
Productions LP Deepfall.
