│song ôShilohöùI couldnÆt help but make the comparison │
│between ShilohÆs name and that classic. ôYeah, we just │
│thought that since Neil Diamond was really famous that │
│if we linked ourselves to him somehow we could ride his │
│coat-tails a bit. You knowà fly in under the radarà │
│psychology type of thing,ö jested Colin Moreh of Shiloh. │
│Brother Justin adds, ôPlus, Shiloh means peace, soà yeahà │
│Y2K, save the whales, wear pleather, donÆt shave your │
│chest, keep it realà that kind of stuff.ö │
│ │
│ Dubbed ôBreaks Men of the Momentö by Hooj.com, Brothers │
│Colin and Justin are the 2 peas that form the Shiloh pod. │
│Finding it hard to get them to talk about anything │
│seriously, I find I hit a chord when mentioning the │
│close relationship they seem to have with one another. │
│ôEverything we do stems from the fact that we love │
│hanging out with each otherùwhether watching hockey or │
│sorting out new tracks. Individually I think we make │
│good music, but the combined effect is exponentialùwe │
│compliment each other in a huge way,ö tells Justin. │
│ôWhen we finally decided to really work hard together to │
│make our first demo, we finished 8 tracks in under 2 │
│weeks and 3 of them got signed. This really solidified │
│what we could accomplish as a duo,ö added Colin. │
│Solidify it it didùShiloh have enjoyed plays by many a │
│large DJ including Freeland, Tayo, Sasha, BLIM, etc., │
│and their records have topped hype charts and record │
│shop sales charts the world over, with their first │
│offering, the massive ôWill U Ever Come Aroundö, signed │
│to a feature movie and a reality TV series in the UK. │
│ │
│Colin DJÆd with the name Maya, retiring from DJing in │
│Æ99 to return to university. He was the first west coast │
│Canadian DJ to travel internationally, and did so on a │
│regular basis, playing with DJs that form a whoÆs who │
│list of the professionûfrom Little Louis Vega to Paul │
│Van Dyk. At the peak and end of his DJing career, Maya │
│was getting equal billing with the likes of Danny Howells │
│, Max Graham, Blu Peter, Anne Savage, Christopher │
│Lawrence, Taucher, SmokinÆ Joe, Jan Driver etc. and │
│received mention in DJ magazine, Muzik, and a full page │
│write-up in M8 magazine. Colin has DJÆd at some of the │
│most coveted and high profile clubs and parties like │
│IrelandÆs number one voted clubùthe Boom Boom Room, │
│GermanyÆs top club at the timeùProto X, and headlined M8 │
│magazineÆs 1-year club-night anniversary; all to stellar │
│reviews and has held numerous residenciesùat one time co- │
│resident with Max Graham for Sweet, one of North │
│AmericaÆs hottest promoters for many years. No stranger │
│to radio, Colin DJÆd in a featured prime-time spot on │
│the largest German speaking radio station in the worldù │
│HR3. Since the recent success on the production end of │
│things, Colin has starting DJing again and has some │
│exciting things lined up on that front. ôDJing is my │
│love and it was inevitable that I returned to it in some │
│capacity. This time I plan on taking Justin along for │
│the rideùheÆs turning into a good little DJ and plus │
│heÆll help keep me out of trouble.ö │

│ Before Justin started producing with brother, Colin, he │
│had already become respected in dance music circles on │
│his own merit. He started out producing tracks with │
│PropellerheadsÆ cult software, Rebirth, in 1996. He │
│quickly became one of the most recognized Rebirth │
│artists in the world, often a beta tester for leading │
│music software products. ôIÆm so stoked to be making │
│tracks for myself now instead of workinÆ for da man! │
│ösaid Justinùreferring to working and remixing for labels │
│as a producer for hire. More than a young electronic │
│music prodigy Justin is also an accomplished musician and │
│vocalist, travelling around North America with various │
│bands. │

│ôWhile there are a lot of places producing good music, │
│we both really see that the UK is to dance music what │
│New YorkùBroadwayùis to theatreà if we can make it there │
│weÆll make it anywhere, ôJustin says kicking up a leg │
│chorus-line style. ôWeÆll see what the next year holds. │
│WeÆll be happy as long as at the end of it weÆre still │
│making tracks together even if our only audience is │

│ Listening to ShilohÆs stuff in the cue for release this │
│year on their ôhomeö label, Electrofly, and others I was │
│thinking that Colin has one lucky cat and I canÆt help │
│but feeling confident that felines all over the world │
│will be lending an enthusiastic ear to their brilliant │
│sound. Just like Mr. DiamondÆs song tells, Shiloh is │
│here to stay. │
