     Foghat specialized in a simple, hard-rocking blues-rock, releasing a series
     of best-selling albums in the mid-70s. While the group never deviated from
     their basic boogie, they retained a large audience until 1978, selling out
     concerts across America and earning several gold or platinum albums. Once
     punk and disco came along, the band's audience dipped dramatically.

     "Energized" was produced by Tom Dawes and features the concert favorites
     "Honey Hush" and "Home In My Hand", as well as an highly-charged version of
     Buddy Holly's "That'll Be The Day". "Rock And Roll Outlaws" was produced by
     Nick Jameson, who joined the band on bass. As the band toured incessantly,
     "Eight Days On The Road" became another live staple.

     Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the British
     boogie/rock n roll band. The package contains all the lyrics (for the first
     time) and brand new extensive notes by Bearsville Records expert Paul
     Myers.
