     Foghat specialized in a simple, hard-rocking blues-rock, releasing a series
     of best-selling albums in the mid-70s. While the group never deviated from
     their basic boogie, they retained a large audience until 1978, selling out
     concerts across America and earning several gold or platinum albums. Once
     punk and disco came along, the band's audience dipped dramatically.

     "Foghat" (1972) was produced by Dave Edmunds at Rockfield Studios, and
     starts with a thunderous version of Willie Dixon's "I Just Want To Make
     Love To You". "Rock And Roll" was the band's sophomore effort and was
     released in 1973.

     Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the British
     boogie/rock n roll band. The package contains all the lyrics (for the first
     time) and brand new extensive notes by Bearsville Records expert Paul
     Myers.
