│ The Young Punx are a pair of underground UK dance producers ││
│ who, throughout 2003 and 2004, have become a regular fixture ││
│ on late night radio and darkened dancefloors. They?ÇÖve made ││
│ their name with a series of cheeky and eclectic club tracks ││
│ taking diverse elements of popular culture (from movies to ││
│ adverts to pop songs) and mashing them with pumping nuskool ││
│ breaks and chunky techie disco house. ││
│ ││
│ Their humorous and anarchic remixing approach and innovative ││
│ DJ sets have seen them rise in under a year to remixing for ││
│ the likes of the Ministry of Sound (and 80s icon Howard ││
│ Jones!) and DJing at Radiohead aftershow parties. They were ││
│ voted by BBC Radio One listeners as one of the two best ││
│ bootleg remixers of 2003 (together with Adam Freeland), and ││
│ have been described by Annie Nightingale as "my latest ││
│ discoveries". They also sell an inexplicably large amount of ││
│ records in Japan. ││
