        ::  Celebrate the sun was formed in 2001 in Liverpool, England.
        ::  The band played their first gigs in London and Liverpool the
        ::  same year. The time in England also included a TV-performance
        ::  at BBC. After a year off and a number of member changes, the
        ::  present line up of the band was complete in late 2003, this
        ::  time based in Stockholm, Sweden. The following spring was
        ::  spent playing gigs around the capital and writing new
        ::  material. The band had made several previous attempts on
        ::  recording material with different producers, but didn't
        ::  achieve the results desired, so in the summer of 2004 the
        ::  band decided to produce their own album. The recordings took
        ::  place at Real music studio, a completely analog studio, in
        ::  Stockholm and resulted in a product this time giving the band
        ::  justice. A releaseparty was held October 29, 2004 for the
        ::  debut album simply called "Celebrate the sun".
