mild mannered modern electronic jazz.
this album, in its abundance of flavor, creates a class of its own. very
few compilations today take so many different genres of music and pull
them together into a single quality sound. The Amalgamation Of Soundz
put house(salt city orchestra - got change for a twenty?), drum and bass
(deadhead - drifta), blues(tom brown - bluesanova), jazz(Les Mcann -
Falling in love with love), hip hop(mass influence - rhyme placement),
trip hop(kushti - takin hold), their own track(salsin') and made it all
match the feeling of the mixture. the best point is that it does not
need the classifications listed above. the album is good without a
stereotypical sound.
so please, when you are looking for this at the record store, ask the
ignorant sales person to point you to the "quality" section. then have a
little chuckle to yourself. they will never understand.

Mp3's are here to improve music, link artists to listeners and not
products to consumers.. Who in hell defined music as a product?
We believe in promotion through exposure. By discussing, sharing, and
introducing quality music to people who may otherwise never be
able to experience what we call the downbeat.
From labels like Pork, Ninjatune, Ubiquity, Mo'Wax, Warp, Hed Kandi,
Instinct, SSR, News, Compost, Mole, OM, Dorado, Tritone etc, etc.
Above all, our finest respects to the artists and their labels.
