Wow! A naaasty little EP here entitled "Black Out
Volume 1", on the Defcom imprint, featuring KM & LS
and a couple of invited guests. I like all the tracks
on it, but notably the C side is perhaps the only
track sampling the Matrix in anything approaching an
original way since Neo, which is definitely a good
thing. All in all, these tracks are some of the best
KM & LS I've heard from them to date, the tracks
are a little less head-on, and they give you time
to breath inbetween the beats while still keeping
KM & LS's inimitable sound...
... In short, this entire EP is quality.
Note: RDB has this EP listed as DCOM014EP, but the
vinyl etching just reads DCOM014, so I'm going with
that instead. (And there's a typo on the RDB page too
;)
