What an amazing year for Death Cab for Cutie! After 2004's
Transatlanticism burst the doors wide open for this
Seattle-based indie fave, and they are now working on their
first new full-length for their new deal with Atlantic (due
fall 2005). In the meantime, the band and their original indie
label Barsuk want to offer up a little something special for
the fans that have been there since the early days.

Recorded by the bearded and mysterious DCFC touring sound guy
John Byrd and guitarist/producer Chris Walla during the spring
2004 Transatlanticism tour, THE JOHN BYRD E.P. is 7 tracks and
over 35 minutes of live specialness. Hear the band talk and
entertain with amusing banter! Hear live versions of tracks
culled from throughout their career! Hear a never-before
released cover of Sebadoh's 'Brand New Love'! THIS CD IS ONLY
AVAILABLE AT SELECT INDIE STORES NATIONWIDE! check
www.cimsmusic.com for more information.
