          In 1993, FranceÆs Agence de la Francophonie and the
          Ivory CoastÆs Ministry of Culture launched the first
          Marche des Arts du Spectacle Africain (MASA) - a
          festival celebrating the art and culture of Africa.
          Since then, the annual MASA festival has become a
          launching point for talented African artists destined
          for the international spotlight. These two anthologies
          from Indigo present a fascinating overview of the
          stunning depth of creativity and international
          influence that has been MASAÆs gift to the world.
          Artists include Boubacar TraorΘ, Scorpions, Tartit,
          MÆBady KouyatΘ, Mustapha Tettey Addy and the newest
          sensation from Africa,
          Rokia TraorΘ. The sixty tracks on these superbly
          packaged two disc sets are accompanied by extensive
          notes and numerous color photos. An excellent gift for
