Release Notes:

"Actors and Actresses" finds the band working with a new sense of
confidence. A band who once was so quick to admit their influences
has now created a unique, mature identity of their own. The Winter
Blanket has retained their beautiful minimalism while expanding
their dynamic intensity and opening up to a more mature vocal
delivery. Lyrically "Actors and Actresses" is concerned with
avoiding the pitfalls of adulthood while searching for an honest
face in the crowd. Red House Painters and Nick Drake fans will be
impressed by The Winter Blanket's unique mix of minimalist pop
with singer-songwriter sensibilities. The Winter Blanket's home-
base of Illinois is a window with which they view the full
spectrum of the seasons. This natural change reflects the well
rounded feelings and perspectives of their music.
