Release Notes:
An excellent full-length set from Urb, one of the best funky jazz groups coming
out of Japan in recent years! Although part of the club jazz scene, Urb have a
groove that's more straight ahead and live, less programmed, less "club", and
more in a style that's got traces of mainstream 70s funky jazz. The group
feature acoustic horns next to electric bass, guitars, keyboards, and slide
around nicely in a mode that links some of the Kudu/CTI jazz style.
