| Second debut EP from the ambitious new french label FRANKIE, |
| planned as a convergence of eclectic electronic music (house, |
| techno, minimal, booty, deep,?) and very various music influences |
| (pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, trip hop?). Concerning the label music |
| direction, frankie rec. mixes sounds and structures taken from |
| house music and techno in a particular raw style with ö clicks & |
| cuts ö from minimal house and very long and brutal breaks from |
| dancefloor tek-house and techno. Frankie rec. evolves with these |
| sounds characteristics and itÆs so difficult to attribute it only |
| one specific style. In definitive, frankie rec. makes real live |
| music, for djs and dancefloor, with fancy, unpredictable sounds |
| and big breaks. DJ FRANKIE keeps all these promises with an |
| exciting 4 tracker in the vein of early DBX etc: dry, minimal and |
| driving with the occassional addition of sensitive vocals, big |
| melodic basslines and a hypnotizing quality all over! |
