│ What they say: What the hell is this crazy shit!?! Mike Relm │
│ comes on like your big sister's boyfriend with a diploma in │
│ scratchology and a PHD in eighties pop. 'Radio Fryer' is │
│ technically as ill as any of these masterworks >>> 'Three │
│ Sinister Syllables', 'A.E.I.O.U. Vol 2', 'Turntable │
│ Scientifics', 'Uneasy Listening' and 'Never Scared' (name the │
│ deejays yourselves). 74 minutes with many jaw dropping moments │
│ = an ill transformer intro to 'Billie Jean' with added Krs-One │
│ juice that withdraws at the last moment leading into 'Rock Me │
│ Amadeus' jigging with The Pharcyde - bizarrely 2 Live Crew's │
│ buddy MC Shy D dropped onto the guitar intro of 'Smells Like │
│ Teen Spirit' - 'Axel F' riding 'Roller Skating Jam Called │
│ "Saturdays' - you catch my wave, the only moment that curled my │
│ toes a bit was when Spandau predictably drifted into PM Dawn │
│ but thankfully that only lasted 20 seconds. An ill mixtape CD │
│ (not a lazy blend and burn job) that the whole funny can enjoy │
│ and seriously dope as well just peep the snip's. Pro CDR in a │
│ cool digipak. Winners all round. --boomkat │
│ │
│ What I say: I ripped this mix in it's original form when it │
│ first came out as "The Mike Relm Holiday Special" which │
│ unfortunately never made it's way into the db. This reincarnation│
│ is virtually identical to that mix except for a few new samples │
│ and tracks and it's split on the CD at every track as opposed to │
│ the original which was in 9 segments. │
