          █         Meet Gudrun Von Laxenburg, the Austrian           █
          █         electronic music trio whose blistering            █
          █         live shows have seen them become one of           █
          █         the hottest word-of-mouth bands on the            █
          █         continent. In the UK, they've attracted           █
          █         the attention of Fatboy Slim and Rob da           █
          █         Bank, and Skint, who've just signed their         █
          █         forthcoming debut album, 'Panic!'. Gudrun         █
          █         got their demo heard by sending a USB             █
          █         hidden inside a large, gold-sprayed               █
          █         pyramid bearing the Illuminati eye, the           █
          █         band figured that it couldn't be hidden           █
          █         beneath anything else; Skint signed them          █
          █         that week.                                        █
          █                                                           █
          █         With a raw sound that lies somewhere              █
          █         between The Prodigy, Daft Punk, Justice,          █
          █         and The Chemical Brothers, Gudrun Von             █
          █         Laxenburg's first single for Skint/BMG is         █
          █         'Revolution', available to stream on              █
          █         Spotify from 27th May (impact date 17th           █
          █         June). In keeping with their DIY ethic,           █
          █         the single is accompanied by a music video        █
          █         that was produced, directed, and edited by        █
          █         the band.                                         █
          █                                                           █
          █         A million miles away from button-pushing          █
          █         EDM mannequins and all-black techno               █
          █         'hipsters', Gudrun have cut their teeth on        █
          █         the live gig circuit. They first performed        █
          █         for a friend's film launch "for fun", but         █
          █         the gig earned them so much local                 █
          █         notoriety that they began playing at art          █
          █         events and small dive venues. Each gig            █
          █         brought them more bookings and before long        █
          █         they were being booked for shows and              █
          █         festivals in their native Austria, then           █
          █         Germany, Netherlands, France, and across          █
          █         Europe.                                           █
