Luxury, a record company and organizer, has during the past 10 years
released music from bands like Makthaverskann, Westkust, Agent Bla, Boat
Club, Franke, TTA, Anton Kristiansson, Xenia Kriisin, Alice B, School 94,
Alpaca Sports, Palpitation, My Darling YOU, Skansros, Samtidigt Som,
Almedal, Happy Hands Club, and many more.
Luxury has also arranged hundreds of parties mainly in their home town
Gothenburg, but also in Malmo and Stockholm. Luxury was also a part of the
Knarrholmen festival 2011-2013. All in all, Northern Europe's indie scene
had looked very different if it wasn't for Luxury. As they keep going
strong as ever, the coming year will be Luxury's best ever with five new
acts signed to the label, including some of Sweden's most saught-after
artists, as well as brand new, young and fresh pop bands.
Luxury is releasing two records in celebration of this 10 year anniversary.
One is a compilation CD, with the best songs released on the label hand
picked by label head Rasmus Hansen himself. One is a strictly limited vinyl
LP featuring exclusive material, including previously unreleased songs from
the likes of Makthaverskan, Boat Club, Alice B and Westkust.
