Jordan Sauer (Segue) and I have been friends and label-mates for an age now it
seems. We started a collaboration somewhere around 2008, but as projects and
labels progressed for the both of us, the only element that came out of this
initially was 'Plateau'. After re-discovering this little wonder on an old
hard-drive, Aki Sallas was invited to play around a little on her reels and
produced a reworking of the original piece.
'Lower Vision Glow' is an updated version of a track that was originally called
'Gnotobiotica'. This track was used for 'Sleep Performances' across the USA, as
well as installation works. 'Charred Breaths Holler' was a small part of an
installation audio piece used in Tokyo and London in 2002.
All music by Ian Hawgood, except 'Plateau' with Jordan Sauer, and 'Plateau
(Reworked by Aki Sallas)' with Jordan Sauer and Aki Sallas.
