Silver. It would release one hundred and eleven singles in its eight
years in business. And while many of its artists and their
recordings are now obscure, two singles - "In The Still Of The
Night" by The Five Satins and "Get A Job" by The Silhouettes - are
acknowledged classics. Ember would fold in the face of the British
Invasion in 1964, but we feature here the brightest and best
