Olhon is a side project from italian ambient artist
               Bad sector & Where

These recordings were obtained by treating and mixing
underwater made in a set of italian volcanic lakes
The sensing device hardware was built around a
hydrophone sensor, enclosed in a heavy waterproof steel body
A very long cable (200 meters) have been used for
connecting the recording device, placed in a deeper point
of the lakes, to a digital recorder on a boat

These recordings can not be considered a pure audio
documentation: the recorded sounds have been treated and
remixed with the intention of recreating the moods and
the sensations of the recordings sites
All 'unwanted', accidentally recorded, noises were also
used in the final mix: boat noises, water drops, remote
preamplifier hiss;, clicks & pops, etc

No synthetisizers of additional sounds were used during
               the remixing phase
