Leaving a strong impression with the release of her mini-album
in 2014, GeneviΦve Racette is back with Les aurores borΘales
(Northern Lights). This new album will be on sale May 6th under
the Disques Passeport label.
Such as a photograph which documents the ephemeral spectacle of
the aurora borealis, GeneviΦveÆs album captures in music,
fading emotions and memories. She tells us about the ups and
downs of romantic relationships with the songs ö Le feu ô, and
ö Noir et blanc ô. It addresses the dilemmas of the music
industry with ö Muette ô, explores her troubled relationship
with loneliness on ö LÆΘlan ô, without forgetting sweet
memories with ö Voiture aΘrienne α hΘlices.ö
ôFor me, Northern Lights , represents the emotions , memories,
ups and downs of relationships. ItÆs like a story in colour.
And the album, thatÆs exactly it. I tell you my northern lights
, ôrecalls GeneviΦve Racette .
On Les aurores borΘales you will find nine new original
compositions, in a comforting folk pop music, with soft tunes
carried by a wave of optimism, like a spring that ends up
pointing the nose after a hard winter !
To achieve this, GeneviΦve Racette surrounded herself, by
producer Franτois-Pierre Lue, recognized for his film scoring
(Sarah prΘfΦre la course, The Grand Seduction) and guitarist
Francis G. Veillette (Peter Henry Phillips, Jeffrey Piton).
ChloΘ McNeil who adds a second layer of smooth voice , while
drummers Philippe Fleury and Gregory Fitzgerald punctuate the
rich melodies of the young Montreal artist. Add to this the
special collaboration of the author Virginie Bilodeau ( Marc
Hervieux, Sally Folk) adding her touch the songs ôPetit nidö
and ö Muette ô

Dgn is around since 1998...
After a few years, a few rippers who left, a few who joined, people
greeting,people yelling, people threatening, people helping, people
watching, we're still enjoying our aime: Let ppl listen to what they
are gonna buy b4 they pay a single penny.
There have been also some people and groups that helped out during the
last few years, maybe it's because of them that (against all odds) we
are still releasing and doing well, those know who they are, and we'll
thank forever.
We remind our beloved public, we're against all kind of distrubution,
don't search our rips neither in your preferred XDcc channel, nor in
your local 127.0.0.1 p2p program, We do not distribute ! But it's not
nice to buy when you do not know what you're buying.
As a matter of fact, DGN is a private group, and do not need rippers,
fast or slow shells, traders, t1+ sites, couriers, prewhores, and hw
suppliers, we need only a nice chalet in Switzerland/Canada or a Villa
in the Caribbean sea where to listen to some chillout music.
