║ Coming from Paris, France, Alaska is a one of Paris' best ║
║ post-hardcore / metalcore band. Paris is known for many amazing ║
║ bands, such as; Betraying The Martyrs, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, As ║
║ They Burn and many more that make Paris proud to have such a strong ║
║ music scene in the metal industry and Alaska are definitely to make ║
║ that list of making Paris a proud city for the music industry. ║

║ Alasa bring the beef to the table when it comes down to writing ║
║ songs. With ground shaking breakdowns and soaring vocals and ║
║ choruses which will send chills down your spin, the Paris based band ║
║ give everything when it comes down to their live performance, never ║
║ failing to get the growing involved with the bands live performance ║
║ no matter where they are, if they are known in the area or unknown, ║
║ if they pay to 5 people or 600 people, the performance never lowers ║
║ in energy Alaska give off when they are on stage. ║

║ Since Alaska starting out back in 2012, Alaska wasted no time and ║
║ got writing and making songs to get ready to start playing shows. ║
║ With a few shows under Alaska's belt they then headed straight into ║
║ the studio to start recording their debut EP 'Into The Sea' which ║
║ was a breaking point for the band and has gotten them to where they ║
║ are to this day. Releasing the first single to the general public, ║
║ it was racking up thousands of views very day since it was released ║
║ and was getting a lot of positive feedback, this made Alaska's mark ║
║ in Paris and across Europe. When the EP was released, it was nothing ║
║ less to be expected that Alaska was to get a lot of attention from ║
║ this EP and the EP did exactly that, Alaska was quickly picked up ║
║ all around Europe by promoters wanting to book them for festivals ║
║ and shows etc... Alaska soon found themselves touring quickly across ║
║ Europe after the release of the EP 'Into The Sea'. After the band ║
║ had finished touring, they continued to play shows in Europe and ║
║ even in the United Kingdom, which means they had finally managed to ║
║ travel over the sea from France to the United Kingdom to start ║
║ playing shows. ║

║ Alaska have taken a whole year break to start writing and recording ║
║ their debut album and wanted to mature their sound a lot more. Due ║
║ to certain circumstances the band went through a line up change ║
║ which meant Alaska now have a new guitarist and drummer which are ║
║ able to deliver a lot more to the table and take Alaska to that next ║
║ level in their music career. ║
║ Alaska wasted no time yet again to get new music written with the ║
║ new line up and get straight back into the studio to record their ║
║ brand new single from the debut album. The single is 'In Search of ║
║ Lost Time'. The single was released late 2013 on the well respected ║
║ and well known YouTube channel known as BeheadingTheTraitor and as ║
║ expect this brought even more attention to Alaska which racking the ║
║ tens of thousands of views up quickly within a matter of months and ║
║ not to this date the lyric video for 'In Search of Lost Time' has no ║
║ hit over 100,000 views and forever still racking the views up. ║

║ A few months after releasing 'In Search of Lost Time', Alaska ║
║ released another lyric video via the BeheadingTheTraitor YouTube ║
║ channel, this single / lyric video was entitled 'Midnight Sun' and ║
║ yet again, this had create a lot of attention towards Alaska with ║
║ this single 'Midnight Sun' racking up tens of thousands of views ║
║ again. ║
║ Alaska has since racked up 17,000 likes on their facebook and ║
║ forever growing at a fast rate and their Twitter has also hit 3,000 ║
║ followers and the same, it is forever growing at a very fast rate. ║
║ ║
║ Alaska are very close to finishing their album and hope to be able ║
║ to release the album towards the end of 2014 or early 2015. Alaska ║
║ are to to tour the whole of Mainland Europe in Summer 2014 which is ║
║ a 3 week long tour and it will also cover the United Kingdom. ║
║ ║
║ Alaska have been able to share the stage with many artists which ║
║ are: Our Last Night, For The Fallen Dreams and also Alaska has ║
║ played the well known open air festival 'Groezrock' alongside: Bring ║
║ Me The Horizon, Rise Against, Bad Religion, Killswitch, Hatebreed, ║
║ Comeback Kid, Emmure, Chelsea Grin and many more artists. ║

║ It is safe to say that Alaska are one of the most promising bands ║
║ out there and they are definitely making their mark in the music ║
