│║ David T. Chastain is one of the not so known ║ │
│║ guitarists in last two decades not only from ║ │
│║ America but here in Europe aswell. His albums ║ │
│║ from his solo career had a moderate succes world ║ │
│║ wide, with ups and few downs, musicaly ║ │
│║ spaeaking. One of his better albums , while not ║ │
│║ something groundbreaking and very innovative is ║ │
│║ his third album named Elegant seduction from ║ │
│║ 1991. Being the owner of Leviathan records he ║ │
│║ release of course the album there. So, what we ║ │
│║ have here, a combination of heavy pieces, all ║ │
│║ instrumental with some progressive metal ║ │
│║ leanings here and there, the resul is ok but ║ │
│║ little to pale in comparations with other albums ║ │
│║ from that period, mostly those released by ║ │
│║ guitarits. The sound is ok, the arrangements are ║ │
│║ ok, but I don't know something is missing, it ║ │
│║ sounds overall like is dated now, for sure were ║ │
│║ better 2 decades ago, but today after the ║ │
│║ avalanche of guitarists, is little to usual for ║ │
│║ my taste. Anyway here Chastain demostrates that ║ │
│║ he is a good guitarists, he knows to handle very ║ │
│║ easy the instrument, just to be checked out the ║ │
│║ bombastic Blitzkrieg or the title track, very ║ │
│║ nice heavy/progressive metal tunes that will ║ │
│║ please any guitar listner. 3 stars, good but ║ │
│║ nothing realy impressive, at least for me. ║ │
