I love a death/thrash band ║ │ │║ that knows when to shut up and play, when to ║ │ │║ slow down and when to speed up. Thanatos is ║ │ │║ handcrafted and tried and true in ethics and ║ │ │║ aesthetics, this is an experienced band. A ║ │ │║ sixteen year effort at this point in history. ║ │ │║ Excellent guitar playing and tone, these ║ │ │║ guitarists know how to write a pure death metal ║ │ │║ riff. Bass and drumming is far from the modern ║ │ │║ blasting you'd expect, leaving the guitars and ║ │ │║ bass to do all the work... While the excellent ║ │ │║ vocal performance leads these waves of metal ║ │ │║ riffing to and fro. Evil is an atmosphere that ║ │ │║ should be left to professionals such as ║ │ │║ Thanatos. They do a perfect job. This is pure ║ │ │║ death metal with admirable old school style and ║ │ │║ high energy songwriting. Don't overlook this ║ │ │║ band, you'll be doing a pathetic disgrace to ║ │ │║ your very soul.
