Dusted, or Rollo, famed producer of New Order and Pet Shop Boys,
founder of Faithless and now composer of When we were young has done
rather well for himself. It's not the sort of album to get happy to
though, it's very dark and the theme of demons of childhood runs
from the fairytale-like cover to the album itself.
It's got a bit of everything, "Time takes time" builds up to a sub-
gospel vocal, slightly Moby sounding, or the bass sax intro of "Want
U" followed by eerie piano and then quite a funky beat. Or the
choirboy singing on "Always remember to respect your mother pt1."
There are a lot of surprises in it, which don't need to be spoilt,
but go buy and enjoy- and you're bound to do that.
