Second full length album from Animals on Wheels, produced by Andy Coleman.
On this release, Coleman departs from the complex drum programming, for
a more simple, organic approach. The focus of this album is the textures
of the sounds he uses. Once again, the simple melodies are beautiful.
Be sure to check out track 7, the sounds used are just outstanding.
Nothing to do with the content of the album, but i feel its very odd that
animals on wheels were moved from Ninja Tune to the more experimental
Sister label - ntone for this release. If anything, it should be the
reverse. In my opinion, this is the less experimental album of the two.
