Lame Ducks are known for fierce and melodical California-inspired
ska punk. Since its inception in 1996, the band has been one of
NorwayÆs largest export goods within the genre, with record
releases and live shows throughout Europe.
The band broke through at the by:Larm festival in 2001, where they
were signed at Fucking Northpole Records. The following years the
band released 3 full length albums, frequented on several
compilations and did multiple tours in Scandinavia, Britain and
Central Europe. The band went into indefinite hiatus in 2004.
Now, 20 years since the forming of the band, Lame Ducks are
performing live again and had their reunion-show at the
KrissLee-Festival in Mandal (Norway) in summer 2016. With their
old/new line up, the band sounds better than ever!
Lame Ducks has clear references to bands like Operation Ivy,
Suicide Machines, Link 80, Rancid, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake
og Mad Caddies.
