█ █▓█ Gideon has always loved music, but first became █▓█ █
█ █▓█ interested in house music back in 1988. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Influenced by his brother who had been playing on █▓█ █
█ █▓█ one of the infamous illegal acid house radio █▓█ █
█ █▓█ stations. Gideon started working on developing █▓█ █
█ █▓█ his style, a form of what we know so lovingly - █▓█ █
█ █▓█ tech house. After doing the circuit of playing at █▓█ █
█ █▓█ friends party's, beaches, festivals, he began to █▓█ █
█ █▓█ land gigs at Wiggle, The End, SW1, Optical, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Fabric (London). Gideon has made and is still █▓█ █
█ █▓█ making a large contribution to the tech house █▓█ █
█ █▓█ scene, including Germany, Belgium, Greece, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Croatia, Macedonia, Singapore, Sicily, Amsterdam, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Paris, Turkey, Hungary, Prague, Malaysia, the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ list goes on. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ █▓█ █
█ █▓█ During Gideon's rise as a DJ he turned his █▓█ █
█ █▓█ attention toward creating his own production. To █▓█ █
█ █▓█ further his development of something individual █▓█ █
█ █▓█ and special. Linking up with a friend to form the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ record label, Outa The Blue, their first release █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Dancin' / Celebrate Life resulted in them playing █▓█ █
█ █▓█ live at The Rocket (London). They continued to █▓█ █
█ █▓█ progress with Keep the Pressure On / Dope Train. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ The third release Immerse featured on Carl Cox's █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Fact II mix album, whilst the B side, Helpless █▓█ █
█ █▓█ featured on a CD ROM mixed by Tom Paris for Magic █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Garden. The No Boundaries EP followed soon after. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ The fifth release, Keep On featured in Terry █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Francis' Architecture mix album and was No.1 in █▓█ █
█ █▓█ the Vinyl Frontier DJ chart (Lotus Magazine). █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Don't Hold Back was then used on Architecture 2, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ alongside Mellifluous, the first track from █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Gideon's solo label. He has also produced █▓█ █
█ █▓█ exclusive production for Tech House Phenomena 2 & █▓█ █
█ █▓█ 4 mix albums as well as Fabric Of London Mix █▓█ █
█ █▓█ series No.3. Since then Gideon has licensed █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Tracks to Loaded, Pagan, L.H.B, Swag, Wiggle, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Pirate radio, and Visitors, All respected record █▓█ █
█ █▓█ labels. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Setting up a studio, provided the means for █▓█ █
█ █▓█ further creativity. Gideon's work is used by █▓█ █
█ █▓█ modern contemporary dancers in class and █▓█ █
█ █▓█ performance, and has been the inspiration for █▓█ █
█ █▓█ several small dance works. His music has been █▓█ █
█ █▓█ consistently well received, being record of the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ week in record shops and on radio shows.(Most █▓█ █
█ █▓█ recently was a guest on Dave Mothersole's show at █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Kiss. FM). Several magazines including Muzik, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Loop, Jockey Slut, DJ mag, Wax and Lotus (U.S.A) █▓█ █
█ █▓█ have written highly of his work. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ █▓█ █
█ █▓█ What's he up to right now?. Gideon is in the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ process of producing for American Label Socco, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ and Visitors, who are based in Belgium. Has just █▓█ █
█ █▓█ finished one version of a great 12', featuring █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Belinda who sang on the Basement Jaxx track, Red █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Alert. Due out Christmas 2002 on Rescue Records. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ In 2003 some new releases, for L.H.B. and Outa █▓█ █
█ █▓█ the Blue, the first on the label for four years. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Being a producer as well as a DJ gives Gideon a █▓█ █
█ █▓█ great insight to what works on the dance floor █▓█ █
█ █▓█ for this style of music. This becomes apparent █▓█ █
█ █▓█ when you hear him play, or when listening to his █▓█ █
█ █▓█ production. He has developed his own style, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ described as a tough warehouse feel, with a █▓█ █
█ █▓█ hypnotic soulful undertone that definitely █▓█ █
█ █▓█ affects your subconscious. His production is █▓█ █
█ █▓█ often incorporated with his DJ ing - it needs to █▓█ █
