Release Notes:

Given the title of their new compilation, it may not be entirely shocking news
that Air are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their international debut, but
they are, and their anniversary present to their fans is an anthology of their
best work.

TwentYears is available digitally, as a 2-CD set, and as a double LP, so theyÆre
really trying to cover all of the bases straight out of the gate. The first disc
is a straight-up best of Air, with 17 tracks handpicked by Nicolas Godin and
Jean-Benoit Dunckel, featuring some of the usual suspects from their singles
releases as well as some album tracks. The second disc, however, features 14
rare and unreleased tracks, including soundtrack contributions, vinyl-only
releases, and some stuff that Air recorded that didnÆt fit into the mix of
whatever album they were recording at the time. Hey, these things happen, right?
But at least youÆre getting them now!
