People looking ║ │ │║ for double bass/guitar attacks should look ║ │ │║ somewere else as Emerald Rain plays a very calm ║ │ │║ Hard Rock with good vocals and nice catchy ║ │ │║ melodies. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ I'd say that the band haven't invented anything ║ │ │║ here, and the songs sound like things we might ║ │ │║ have heard somewhere else, but at least they ║ │ │║ sound very good and that's enough for me. I also ║ │ │║ enjoy having an album I can put in the back to ║ │ │║ put my mind at ease and relax, not taking care ║ │ │║ of which track I should skip as they're all ║ │ │║ good. This is typically the kind of CD I enjoy ║ │ │║ playing in the back while I'm working on ║ │ │║ something, it is emotioned packed and quite ║ │ │║ catchy, with nice vocals and good guitar parts ║ │ │║ (although simple), but always enjoyable (both ║ │ │║ riffs and solos). The only thing missing would ║ │ │║ be a killer track or two as most of the songs ║ │ │║ are the same (good but maybe too identical ║ │ │║ sometimes). Last but not least nice artcover ║ │ │║ (very cool logo symbol) and a very nice ║ │ │║ production which fits the music like a glove. ║ │ │║ ║ │ │║ Emerald Rain is a nice band that despite ║ │ │║ originality, delivers a pretty good Hard Rock ║ │ │║ album, the kind of CD you can put anywhere and ║ │ │║ in every company. For fans of catchy Hard Rock α ║ │ │║ la Firehouse or Honeymoon Suite (but without the ║ │ │║ killer titles).
