Turbulence is the reggae singer whose recent performance at
Jamaica's Sting concert has caused a stir in the reggae
community. The young performer had most recently appeared as
an opening act on the Sizzla - Real Thing tour - honing his
skills. Stage shows are the realm of underground acts where
buzz is started and legend is made. Turbulence made the most
of his Holiday time performances and built on a rising
reputation. "Songs Of Solomon" is a mix of spiritually
inflected love songs like "Slim Girl" and the
internationally flavored soul ballad "All Night" and
socially minded songs like "Heartless" and "Unify". This
album will firmly place Turbulence among the ranks of
conscious artists with an international appeal.
Production duties for "Songs..." was handled by Phillip
Burrell and the Xterminator production camp renowned for
their work in conscious reggae.
