From the land of indie music comes a really nice blend of Electro-
Industrial with a touch of metal, check it out and enjoy this Blood
and Batteries release!
From Audio Street:
Musical Style
Blood And Batteries has a very unique sound. They use hardcore
screams, mixed with metal guitar riff's, amd insane synths and
beats, along with mind blowing bass and DJ Syko's finest scratching
here and there.
Brief Description
The Band Blood And Batteries' members are all from Boynton Beach,
Florida. They are a 5-piece band comming at you with metal guitar
riff's, hardcore-like screams, insane synths and beats, with a lil
bit of DJ Skyo's finest scratching here and there. They will
certainly blow you're mind, and dont currently fit into any genre.
They have compeleted their first album, which is titled "Salient",
its ready to be mixed and finalized.
History/Biography
All the members of Blood And Batteries currently live in Boynton
Beach Florida. They basically started out sitting around one day,
having the knowledge of being in previous bands, Rik (Singer) and
Dan (Guitarist/Beats), and Brad (Beats/Keyboards) figured why not
start a band. They figured it'd be a little thing to do on their
spare time, but they were wrong. They came out with a 14 song album
in a little under a month, and are still currently working on
finializing it, and mixing it to be pressed. Playing shows, and
growing a huge fan base though out Boynton and West Palm Beach
Florida. Friend of the Singer, Brian came into the picture a little
while after the album had the guitars, beats and vocals done. Brian
also goes by Dj Syko, and is Blood And Batteries DJ. He throws in a
little bit of scratching here and there, and also does the backup
vocals.
Shortly after that took off smoothly, Rik's older brother Steve
moved back from Boston, where he was in a band called "Hear-Say", he
sang, but also knew ho top play the bass, so since they had a
singer, they took Steve in as their bass player. So Steve (Bass and
backup vocals) started to play bass for B&B and the rest is history.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
