The name needful things should also be the concept and the
program of the Label... Needful things publications should
be useful utensils, which DJ s can use in each situation -
probably in each section of the night (b1 gooving
beginning, a1 peak time, b2 morning hours) The long A side
featured the hard, functional Techno sound, well known for
years from Chris Zanders DJ sets. B1 dedicates itself to
likewise functional Techno, which can be described best
with the words grooving and floating. The second track of
the B side it should be a more mellodic and experimental
productions. Wants to be called: the peak time
functionality of the TRACKS is back-screwed in favor of
experimental sounds and surfaces. Just mellodic flying
detroitstyle for the early morning houres at the club.
Release DATE for needful things, ntr 01 was the 16th
December 2002. The catalog number 2 was released in
February the 16th 2003 and has as additional attraction an
remix of frankfurt groove master Rios Remix. You can get
the needful things stuff at www.delirium.de, the Delirium
shop at the Toengesgasse 38 in Frankfurt or ask your local
record dealer.
After the needful things records o1 - foreward thinking
ep, now comes the second release of Chris Zander's needful
things label. Two of us resumes consistently the concept
of the needful things idea. "Survive the BREAK" (a1) is
again hard & energetic techno with an effectfull endless
long break, produced for the peak time. The Flipside
"basic pattern rework" from Toni Rios has the typical
Riosgroove, which is well known from his DJ sets worldwide
(b1). "Goodbye" (b2) is not only from the name an ideal
last record, also the warm sounds and surfaces tell the
crowd on the dancfloor - it was a beautiful night, see you
next time - perfect to leave a smile in tired faces.
