We won't be called Enormous Tunes if we
won't try out some really crazy stuff
from time to time. Not exactly crazy,
but special, outstanding and sometimes
a bit experimental club music that we
couldn't resist to give it a try and
round out the extensive catalogue.
This time our in-house buddies from ME
& MY TOOTHBRUSH played us track in a
rough demo a while back and we were
blown away by the intensity and
creativity of the track idea and we
sent them back to the studio to make
the final production. As a result
MENACE was done shortly after and it
was tested by EDX and Nora En Pure in
their live-sets where the track
received phenomenal feedback from the
crowd.
The funky power-chord guitar licks are
making the trick here and build the
standout base of this epic track. The
playful rap vocal samples are
infectious and make sure the groove
keeps on going - strong DJ tool and
above all a great piece of music!
When the artist's presented us the b-
side idea SEXY LADY we initially
thought it would be too good to be
ending up as a b-side track, considered
that the a-sider is "Menace" that is
playing on its own level. But after a
while listening to both tracks in a row
in our offices, we thought they would
make quite a good match and we stuck
the the initial plan of making the
tracks an EP. A super EP with two
master pieces.
