Monstrare is the Dark Ambient solo-project of a guy from Minnesota
named Cordell Klier. He is also known from a couple of other
projects named Vedisni, No Human Day, Cordell Klier, Kreptkrept.
This album contains ten long tracks of dark ambient soundscapes with
an industrial, machine-like atmosphere. The tracks tend to be quite
minimal and there is not a lot of development or story in them, but
the sounds and production are very nice. Perhaps Monstrare needs to
focus on its compositions a bit more, but otherwise this is a very
promising release. It will certainly appeal to fans of Jarl, Blood
Box or Morgenstern.

PS: You might have noticed the new notation to include labels in
dirnames such as Artist-Title-.Label.-Year-Group that allows to
identify reliably a label in a dirname.Ask someone from the group
for more details about that notation.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
