Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
The next chapter in underground rap music is now upon us! ██░
Enter Slimm Goines, an amazing lyrical architect from ██
Washington DC, home to hip-hop acts such as DJ Kool, The ██
Questionmark Asylum, Nonchalant and Section 8 Mob. ██
██
Influenced by his two favorite authors Iceberg Slim and ██
Donald Goines, Slimm Goines combines clasic street ██
story-telling with metaphoric punchlines and ██
more...old-school braggadocious rhymes that hip-hop fans ██
worldwide could relate. ██
██
He has been compared to legendary lyricists including his ██
idol Rakim, Ice Cube, KoolKeith (aka Dr.Octogon/Doom), Mos ██
Def and the late Big L (RIP). ██
██
Ruff Rhyme Records proudly releases Slimm Goines' long ██
awaited debut solo EP, The Notes From The Scribe. ██
██
It was produced by Slimm's long time producer and Ruff Rhyme ██
Records label owner Big Poppa Nard and co-produced by local ██
DC producer Alan Palmer of NX Phase Studios. ██
██
The EP has guest appearances from Storm The Unpredictable, ██
Ding-Ding of The Questionmark Asylum and up and coming ██
artist, Black Sun. PZZZzz ██
