Frank Murder is the alias of Thorgeir Freeman
Odinsson, from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland.
Born in 1979 he grew up in the city's centrum and
from a early age has worked in multiple artistic
mediums. After starting out in street art at the
age of 14 (grafitti, designing for tattoo parlors,
etc), he moved on to schooling himself in the fine
arts, and graduated from the Icelandic Academy of
the Arts at the young age of 22. After getting his
B.A., Thorgeir, or Frank, started a daytime job as
an art teacher and now works with children ages 6
to 15.s
Even though Frank has a visual arts education, he
has been long renowned for his love of music and
his musical experiments. Frank has been actively
making electronica from 1994, releasing many demos
and homemade albums through independent record
stores. His first official release was in 2001,
through Don Funcken of Funckarma in Holland. Don
also got Frank in touch with Speedy-J for a remix
project that was released online. Meanwhile Kharis
O'Donnel, or Remote Worker, was founding his label
C.B.B. and later released three Frank Murder
tracks on the "hive" compilaton that was the
label's second release. A year later Frank
released two tracks on a compilation from
Iceland's leading electronic label, Thule.
In 2003 he had one track on a compilation in
England from up-and-coming label Cactus Island. He
also released a 3" solo cd on Cactus Island in
October 2004.

Now here his debut album. Musicly likened to
everything from Drum and Bass to Warp artists like
Plaid, Frank Murder is almost schizophrenic in his
music and can surprise you and shock as well as
entertain. Brilliant debut, 17 untitled tracks
that clock in at 61 minutes. Home made limited run
CDR.
