James Huggett - Bass guitar, guitar, electronics, programming
Martin Archer - Alto and sopranino sax, bass clarinet, violin,
electronics
Mick Beck - Bassoon
Charlie Collins - Flute
The Dematerialised Passenger is Combat Astronomy's second full
length release, the first being the critically acclaimed but highly
limited edition Lunik on the industrial label Adnoiseam several
years ago.
Masterminding this cult underground act, James Huggett has built on
the power and creativity of his earlier work, refining the rock and
jazz aspects that often coloured them, and produced his most focused
and ambitious recording to date. Huggett considers it a
"breakthrough - I've finally achieved what I have been striving for
musically for ten years"
The result is a relentless prog/zheul/industrial tour de force with
some fantastically vocal and aggressive horn work against the
grinding mid-tempo down-tuned bass guitars, odd meter drums and
droning electronics.
Hypnotic and iconoclastic, fans of Guapo, Heldon, Circle and 'brutal
prog' should check this out immediately.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
