Notes:
In todays current versions of compositing software, youll find a
decent set of stereo-based toolsets that allow the
compositor to perform both 2D and 3D-based compositing roles.
Understanding how to not only utilize the tools
out-of-the-box, but also to create simple stereo-based
toolsets within Nuke will allow the compositor to fully immerse
themselves in what stereo truly means for stereo-based
compositing. In this course, Nuke Stereoscopic Compositing and
Conversion, youll learn how to create and remove
stereoscopic imagery within a shot. First, youll dive into the ins
and outs of Stereoscopic 3D, its workflow, how it relates to
human vision, and additionally key stereo-related phrases. Next,
youll learn how to build a simple stereo convergence tool, along
with a more complex stereo conversion tool. Finally, youll
explore testing how to make changes to pre-existing
stereoscopic imagery utilizing two different methods. By the end of
this course, youll have the necessary knowledge to survive
within a stereo-based compositing pipeline. Software required NUKE
